CD11: Triggering Tonight!
I'm doing the typical hCG trigger but we're adding in 450iu of Gonal-F as per the UCSF study. Dr. Italian said that he's tried this on a few patients and that it's been a particularly good month for pregnancies...no hard data in yet, but maybe it IS working? I teased that I wanted co-authorship if he published anything on this.
My arms are still itching like mad. Trigger shot in 36 minutes. Can't tell you how much I HATE HATE HATE having to trigger in my deltoid. I was about to say nothing sucks more than this ... and then I reflected on those PIO shots and, well, enuf said.

Four is a fabulous number! Thinking of you and hoping that this is indeed a great month for pregnancies!

Sending good vibes to the Fab 4! Are they all on your left ovary? Just wondering, as that right one was kinda wonky.
Hope the trigger went ok -
Thanks for your comments on my blog, amazing that you were able to get your clinic to accomidate your schedule! Unfortunately at my clinic there is no staff around during the non-cycle month, (they go about every 2 months). AND there are NO other clinics for 300 miles. I actually went to one in the big city when it took this clinic over a YEAR to get me a donor. But then the poor terrible donor (who looked great on paper) turned up at my clinic and it just seems so much easier (!) to cycle an hour away instead of 6 hours away...silly me!
I hope trigger went well. Good luck with ER tomorrow!!!
Wow, that was really fast! Here's hoping the trigger went OK. I hear you on the shot thing. I have an embarrassing tendency to pass out when I get stuck with a needle, so this whole IVF experience should be really interesting.
Keeping fingers crossed for a great retrieval!
Take care,
Julie
Hope the trigger went well and you are prepping for retrieval as I write this! Good luck!!!!
